UNIQUE PUBLICATIONS: BUSINESS TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions apply to all transactions placed online with Unique Publications. Please read carefully before placing any order. All contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms and conditions will be deemed to affect your statutory rights.

The term ‘Unique Publications’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website as detailed below. The term ‘you’ refers to the customer purchasing goods through our website.

Back Orders

Our intention is to dispatch all goods purchased within two working days of receiving your order. However, if your item is not in stock or for any other reason cannot be dispatched without significant delay, you will be informed by email and you will have the option to cancel your order if you would rather not waitby emailinvoice and we will despatch the goods on receipt of payment by o Returns and Repayments

In the event of any goods delivered by us being damaged in transit, deficient of items shown on the invoice, or failing to match the items ordered by you, then such items must be notified by you to us within seven working days of receipt. We will undertake to fully correct any failure with your order. If we receive no such notification the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. Upon your notification we will require the damaged or deficient goods to be returned at our cost. They will be replaced without delay. If instead you request a refund, this will be supplied upon our receipt of the damaged goods.

We welcome all feedback about our website and online shop, and we aim to deal with any problems or difficulties experienced by our customers both quickly and fairly.

Payment Options

Online: You can use this site by adding products to your virtual mail-order cart and then use the secure checkout process to pay for them via Paypal.

By post – UK customers with sterling bank accounts only: you can post your order to us at the address above and pay by cheque. Please make sure that titles and prices are clearly written down, and that postage has been added as shown on our Shipping details page. Make cheques payable to ‘Unique Publications’. Allow an additional three working days in order for cheques to clear.By bank transfer on receipt of invoice: We make every effort to charge for post and packing at a fair and reasonable price. However, the range of publications in terms of size and weight, coupled with the range of postal charges to different parts of the world, means that if your order is for predominantly small items (i.e. magazines and booklets rather than books), charges for post and packing may appear to be unreasonable. If you feel this is the case then please contact us with a list of publications you wish to order, and we will provide you with a personal quotation for postage and packing and inform you by email of any revised price. If you then wish to go ahead with the purchase on this basis, we will provide you with a detailed proforma invoice and we will despatch the goods on receipt of payment of this invoice by direct bank transfer or via Paypal.

Products and Prices

Product details are checked to the best of our ability, and whilst every effort has been made to make them accurate, no responsibility will be accepted for errors or omissions.

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£).

We reserve the right to alter our prices and specifications without notice.

Ownership of Goods

All items supplied to the customer remain the property of Unique Publications until final payment of all sums owing in respect of those goods has been received in full by us.
